Lone Wolf is the solo working title used by singer and multi instrumentalist/producer Steve Eyre.

The story goes something like this:- "It took a long time to get to a point in my life where i could craft a song with some idea of knowing what i was actually doing" says Steve "Life Force was me arriving at 40 and working through all these weird feelings i had at being an older guy and trying to put that into perspective in these songs i was already working on over previous years" "to be honest it was daunting, i'd never produced and played everything before on an album, i was accountable to myself, directing the whole thing and you realise it's all down to micro decisions at every step! the self doubt is overwhelming!"

Life Force received critical acclaim in the New artist circles but Steve had two major issues. one was there was no budget to promote the EP and no record industry muscle to take it to an audience. Two, By the time Life Force released, Steve didn't want to recruit a band and take the show on the road. We really wish he had but such is life..
